- Wood blocks for trimming purposes
- Wood glue and nails

- Saw
- Tape measure
- Pencil
After having the list of equipment, the next step will be to measure the dimension of the fish tank. Make sure you do it accurately or you will need more time for trimming. Prepare the 2x4s lumber based on the dimension.
Next, build 2 rectangular frame using the lumber for the top (represented by red color) and bottom (represented by orange). Refer to the basic frame image as a guide.

Now, proceed with the trimming stage to make sure that the stand is level and not slanted. This is especially important because an uneven stand might cause the glass tank to break due to pressure. Sand the wood and finally give the stand a nice finishing.
